Our DNA

A young IT firm,
backed by a group founded in 1963

SAT-LIT is the IT division of the Malmezac Group, a Polynesian family group whose story began in 1963, when René Malmezac founded Sat Nui — the first stevedoring company to raise cranes on the docks of Papeete, today a major player at the Autonomous Port.

From stevedoring to transport, from real estate to hospitality, the group grew with the fenua. Our emblem echoes the Sat Nui compass rose and the Polynesian weaving motif: the bond, the connection, the network woven between local partners.

SAT-LIT brings that heritage to the digital world: the discipline of an established group, the Māʻohi values of sharing, and the technical standards of a modern IT firm. A trusted network, rooted in the territory.

A word from the director

A vision born of connection,
carried by culture

Of Wallisian and Caledonian descent, I grew up surrounded by this Oceanian culture that shaped me deeply. It passed on to me simple, powerful values: respect, sharing, solidarity and a sense of community.

Today I'm proud to lead the SATLIT project, a vision of IT that's useful, accessible, secure and compliant, designed for the realities of the Fenua and mainland France alike. Through the Malmezac Group, a family business that embodies these same values, our paths crossed naturally. Their trust is a precious strength.

SATLIT is much more than a shared IT department. It's a local ecosystem of committed partners, a single point of contact to support businesses across all their digital challenges: cybersecurity, infrastructure, development, compliance, digital transformation, training, video surveillance, AI…

This project isn't only mine, nor solely the Malmezac Group's. It belongs to a united Oceanian people, ready to meet the digital age with its own strengths, talents, culture and vision.
